factory reset indego 800

I did a factory reset of my Indego 800. On the display there is a message that the factory reset in ongoing and that afterwards the Indego will reboot. This is now for more than 3 hours and the reset is not finished yet. Is this normal ? I cannot find anything about it in the manual.

I would just shake the Indego without power, take the red key out. What should happened? Nothing.
At worst, you have to repeat the reset.
